5 Things Tuesday

1  REFRESHED - After my three city stint, I’m finally back in SoCal. I’m rested. Recharged. And ready to go.

Although there isn’t much for me to do quite yet. All my projects wrapped up before I left for Boston. And new projects haven’t come piling in quite yet. I hope they do - I need to get my marketing hustle going.

2  THIS MOVIE TRAILER - Need I say anything more?

3  BIRTHDAY FREEBIES - It’s my birthday this weekend and one of the perks that come with is everyone’s bomb marketing.

  • Free coffee from Starbucks? Why thank you.
  • Free mud slide from The RAM? I wish I caught this before leaving Seattle.
  • 15% off at Anthro? Um, yes.

Thank you all. Happy birthday week to me.

4  CELEBRITY SIGHTING - Yesterday I had a couple hours to kill while in NoHo so I headed toward a Starbucks to redeem my free coffee. And who do I see sitting near the door?!

Brett Davern from MTV’s Awkward. Whoohoo! TEAM JAKE!

If you’re not watching that show - you should. Because it’s hilarious. And well-written. And really good. Yeah. Do it.

5  TEN YEARS LATER - Yesterday I kept seeing posts all over my Facebook feed about how my friends were marking the day as the 10-year anniversary of when they started the Honor Academy.  How it was when they met so many amazing people or when their lives radically changed.

It wasn’t my 10-year.  This was specifically my last intern class of my Teen Mania years.  But still, it sent me down memory lane.

So many great memories. So many great people. From K-Crew to Grad Interns to Dave Hasz to Mama Olin. And the classes that I took and retreats I went on. Or many times I did or facilitated ESOAL.

I had a blast. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
