5 Things Tuesday

Hello.  It’s really late and I should be in bed but oh well!  Here’s five things going on with me:

1  DISNEY PRINCESS MARATHON - How was your weekend? I spent mine at Disneyland! Not at the park but right outside it, cheering on two of my friends as they ran the Disney Princess Half Marathon.

One dressed up as Snow White, the other as Ariel. Just a couple princesses among a bunch of other Disney themed runners. How incredible were these costumes! There were tons of princesses (obviously), a Mike Wizozski, a Boo, the Incredibles, Peter Pans, the entire bobsled team from Cool Runnings, Tweedle Dee followed later on by Tweddle Dumb, and even a guy dressed up as the mop from Fantasia.

Anyways, I’m thinking about running this next year. Which means, I should start training AND I need to start planning a bomb costume.

2  JOINING THE WORLD OF MAILCHIMP - Heyo. So I spent most of my Labor Day Monday working MailChimp and gathering my subscriber list. I haven’t done very well on the marketing side of my biz, so hopefully this will help me get in front of people’s faces again.  Like “hey, I’m still here.  do you need photos?  hey, check out what I’m shooting these days!”

Anyways, if you want updates coming to your mailbox too you can sign up HERE.

3  CHECK OUT THIS FLIPAGRAM BY TJ - I just love this concept and all the t-shirts! It makes me want to do something similar to this. Maybe it’s just an excuse to buy 100 t-shirts though. But still! It’s for ART!

4  WISDOM TEETH ALS CHALLENGE / HILARIOUS - Omg this is the funniest ALS challenge yet. Seriously. The bloody teeth. The fact that she’s slurring all her words. Her face when she thinks her mom is coming. How she dumps the ice water on her.

BEST.

5  COLORADO BOUND - If you haven’t heard yet, I’m heading up to Colorado next week. Denver to be exact. I’m shooting a wedding out there … in the mountains!

Even though I don’t really do weddings anymore, I’m happy to take on just a few ones here and there. And plus, I get to travel some more! Can’t complain about that.

Ok so who has suggestions on what to do, where to go in Denver? Obviously, I’d love to climb Pikes Peak again but I’m not quite ready to trek 13 miles up a mountain. Next time maybe. But food/entertainment suggestions are welcome.
