You guys. It’s Monday. May 1st. And I’m back. 

After a … what? … two year hiatus of blogging, I’m back. With an anthem that just speaks to my soul. 

Surprise, surprise. it’s Switchfoot. I kind of love this band a lot. Not sorry about it. 

Anyways, I shared it with my discipleship group a few months back and this is what I wrote:

what’s making me happy this week?

This music video from Switchfoot. I don’t know if you know this, but Switchfoot is my all time favorite band and no other music has ministered to my soul like theirs. I love the sound, the song, the lyrics, the story behind it all. I love the way Jon Foreman writes. I love his voice. I sort of love him. Bwahaha! But no seriously, I love this band and they are about to release a new record. But this particular acoustic song just really got me.
